Institution status is published by Plaid for each bank as a whole. It says nothing about any household's accounts, and UniFi never lists where a household banks.
Questions people ask
What does each status mean?
Healthy: sign-ins and updates are succeeding at the normal rate. Degraded: more attempts than usual are failing, usually because the bank's own site is slow or changed. Down: the connection is not working for most people right now. No report: Plaid has not published a status for this institution.
My bank says healthy but my connection needs attention. Why?
Institution status is the bank as a whole. Your own connection can still ask you to sign in again after a password change, a new security question, or a period of inactivity. Open Accounts and choose Fix connection; it repairs the link in place without a second copy of your history.
How often does this page update?
Every fifteen minutes, from Plaid's institution status feed. A change at a bank can take a little while to show here.
Is my bank missing from the list?
This page watches the institutions people ask about most. Plaid connects to thousands more; the Connect dialog inside UniFi searches all of them.
